Sugar & Ginger

On Christmas eve, Mary and I made many many many sugar cookies,
and ginger cookies, not ginger bread cookies. But, they turned out as tasty as they could be. ;)

Lets just say, Mary made this recipe up.

It took almost the whole afternoon to make it...
it was real hard for children to wait...!!

But at the end...we were able to finish them, and decorated them before Christmas. ;)

Missoula ♪

(The tree was so good, it fell down the day after Christmas day...)

Coming Up: Mary and Lisa's cookie time!

Uncle Matts

By Lisa

The weekend before we left for Montana, Uncle Matt had a Christmas party at his house, it was great time with yummy food and it's awesome to be able to see the family...

Here is Jack playing with Xander...

Xander and Aurora were pretty shy when the party just started..

But after some warming up....

it seemed like a good time for the small children.

I am happy that I was able to be in Montana now...

Kathryn (and the rest of the family) is (are) super fun to be around with..

except she seemed to have learn many tricks from Uncle Matt..... ;)

Tim & Marnie's

The night before we left, Dad and I were able to meet with Tim and Marnie for dinner..
We were at Tea House, a SiChuan restaurant that has delicious delicious food.

I wish I am a (better) cook.

I decided I am going to make some freestyle Chinese food for the Froelichs while I am here...Mary wants to eat my fried rice, and I want to eat lemongrass honey chickenwings...!!!

(Jack thought I was going to write, "Mary wants to eat my friend", haha)

Anyways- I got a chance to see their beautiful children and their cute house..

Kathryn was excited and didn't want to leave Maggie at all...
she had such a good time...and she wanted to stay 32 minutes more after we are back from dinner...

Yes, those are safty goggles and juice.

Michael has grown so much...since the last time I saw him... ;)

Don't you think babies are growing up too fast???

At Grandma's

Hello! This is Lisa!

We have been staying at Grandma Mary's these couple days while the Froelichs (Chris, Jack and Kathryn) are here in Minnesota. The Froelichs and I will be driving back to Montana tomorrow early morning ;)

These couple days I have been playing with Kathryn, Gus and Uncle Matt quite a lot. We went out to eat, groceries shopping, went to outlet mall and visit Nichole and Chelsea! It's been nice to be able to see Nichole, Chelsea and the rest of the family. (I have super cute pictures of Aurora and Xander!!!)

But for now, here are couple pictures of Kathryn and Grandma Mary's puppy Gus ;)
I will be back with more!

Kathryn

Kathryn and I took pictures for my photo shop class I have like ten more but none will load but these two. I don't know how to make them internet worthy...like my dad was talking about on Beckys blog but I think they are fine like this.

a baby patch

and just when I had given hope of ever acquiring more cousins, Renn gets married, then Kiera gets pregnant, and today, voila! a baby: Isaac Michael Patch.
I was worried that I wouldn't get a call when they finally had their baby, since it took me days to find out Renn was engaged, but I got three calls today.
I went to the hospital after work.

Isaac is very heavy, 8lbs 2oz, and 20 inches long, my arms got tired.
He is healthy and soft and smells like Johnson's baby wash. Perfect baby smell.
Here are some pictures I took while I was there.
I love his little ear.

and his poor little face with bruises.

Renn was the easiest to catch pictures of, because Kiera hardly held the baby while I was there.

Back for you to listen to at work (cough, cough, you know I mean you Grandpa.)

Love you.
