Today we to the beach for the first time. Kathryn showed no fear for the water at all. She basically screamed when we got to the top of the hill on the trail “It’s the ocean” Than she raced off and went right in to the water not stopping till it was up above her head. Than she just called mom not at all worried about getting carried away by the water. We now like it best when the water is only 2 ft. tall total, those are the easy days. Kathryn won’t go on the boggy boards because they always seem to flip when she gets on. Jack is getting really good on the water skimmer… he found a couple boys who had some from Arizona and they all practiced together. Mom is chasing Kathryn none stopped and Mary reads on the shore and some times graces the family with a few minutes in the water. Although we spend lots of time on the beach no one is getting tan or thankfully burned too bad.
Sitting on the sand bar

Mom brought a chair out to the sand bar and sunbathed and read her depressing non-beach book.

Mary reading her new book The Host, very good!
