Here are some pictures from our neighborhood. Lots of deer and some of the pictures are a bit fuzzy because bucks do not like us to get close, so these are zoomed all the way out in low light.
Also, we went up a canyon road to see where it would end. Now I know why we bought the suburban. Sometimes the road was a little scary.

Actually Chris did this post, pretty impressive eh! Can you believe the size of those deer in our yard? Pretty crazy. We have started going on evening drives looking for deer because it is so fun to see how many we can find in an evening in our neighborhood.
I saw some fake deer on someones lawn this morning on the way to the airport and thought of you. Ha! How wonderful to see them up close and enjoy nature in your own backyard. Another new look for your blog. Has Becky been at it again?
Whoops--I forgot I am signed in on Grampa's again. I just added a new post to his blog. Love, MOM
I love all the new photos. It makes me want to come and gather you all in my arms for a hug. Can you put those deer in the freezer? Man that's a lot of good meals. You boys won't have to go far to get your limits, but with them practically pets maybe there will be some that won't want dinner. That's okay, you can send it home to me.
Polly, what a beautiful part of the country you're living in!! And yes, I am impressed that Chris did a blog!! Way to go, Chris! You are so multi-talented!
