Kathryn's apron

Ok, I am way behind on posting.  Thankfully the girls keep the blog going.  Kathryn decided she wanted an apron since Grandma Marcie made one for Becky, Mary, and Danielle.  Kathryn picked out her own fabric in honor of her good friend "Tinker Bell".  She obviously watches too many movies when she refers to Disney characters as her good friends.
Anyway, I should've been able to make this apron in 30 minutes, but with Kathryn's non stop help it took most of the day.  I made another one for the neighbor girl in record time, maybe 25 minutes.  I got my pattern from an old apron of Becky's from Home Depot.  Remember the little orange apron?  I'm hoping to do some more sewing this week.  It was really fun to create something.  I wish Kathryn gave me a break once in a while so I could do something.  She is so darn busy all the time.  She literally climbs the walls.  I turn around and she is on the windowsill, or trying to wrap the cords from the window blinds around her body while standing on the T.V. cabinet, or in my makeup bag.  Yes, I do keep things up high that I don't want her to get, I wish that stopped her.  Yes, of course the window blind cords scare me to death, I'm having a heck of a time keeping those away from her.  Anyway Kathryn is after me right now to go outside, so I better get going before she teaches me a lesson....

Okay, I want one too, not the bundma calls her, but the apron. And maybe not in Tinkerbell fabric either. But she is so cute, love the hair cut. Being one of the elders in the family, the patience isn't there anymore for busy little people, but we sure do miss them anyway. Grandpa was just saying today that he really missed being able to just run over for a little entertainment. You know some dancing or singing or just some twirling. I'm trying to figure out when we can come out to see you all, probably not before Christmas so that means probably not til graduation. Do you have a date for that yet? Let us know. Love and kisses to all. Grandma

Oh what a cutie-so innocent! Ha! Love the haircut photos with Chris. Nice job on the apron! It's nice she and Tink are friends. Becky is so into Peter. Do you want more fabric? VBS!
