Jack and Kathryn loving the hot spring.
Kathryn hates to get her ears wet and cries when I get her hair wet, but not in the hot pool.
We had the place to ourselves for a little while. Doesn't that look awesome? Another family came hiking along and climbed in and thankfully they wore swimsuits too! I guess you never know what your going to get at Jerry Johnson hot springs. We passed a few pools that had nudists in them, but we just kept hiking. Although a man told us "the way things work here is everyone is welcome in any pool" ah... thanks but no thanks. Can you imagine what Kathryn would've said, I can. At Costco the other day she said "That lady has a really big nose doesn't she. " I just coughed really loud and tried to cover up her voice. It was an exciting day. On the hike back to the car Kathryn had a piggy back ride and asked everyone to be quiet so she could sleep. She fell asleep within minutes. I got to carry her so I got a good workout, 30 extra pounds to lug back to the car, she slept the whole way home too. Perfect end to a perfect day.

I love you all.
There are hot springs like that here too. And they have public bath, onsen, sento...
Japanese people enjoy hot bath (with or without other mineral things in them) very much.
And they have no problem doing without clothes. Yes, thanks, but no thanks.
oh, that all looks so fun!
That looks like a good sized pool. And to think that something in the earth just heats it up for you! Did you say they are mineral springs or just hot? I would want to pour a gallon of chlorine in it. Public bathing is not my thing. Glad you all had fun.
Did you play Marco Polo? ha ha
You are having way too much fun.
I heard Jonathon saw Becky this weekend.
Miss everyone!
