Another day...

Jack has had a rough time since his wound change yesterday.  I didn't take any pictures as we were in too big of a hurry to get it recovered and get the air off of it.  He had a lot of pain for the next few hours and we had a hard time getting it under control.  We can't really give him any more medication then he is already on being a child and all...  No fair, he needs to weigh more.  Our neighbor said that the first wound change after debridement is always the most painful.  The doctor also said to only change the wound once a day for the first few days, which is great except it keeps leaking.  Yuck!  This morning Jack and I did his wound care immediately after he got up and he said he was in a lot of pain but maybe if he played Runescape on the computer he'd be able to keep his mind off the pain.   I said that was fine and he said "I never new the computer could be such a uh uh ..."  Distraction I said and he said  "no I meant cure"  Well that is kind of a stretch that computer games can cure you, but at this point Jack gets what Jack wants.
