Adventures of Marigold

Hi my name is Marigold.  I am a hamster.  I am lucky enough to get to live with the Froelich's.  Kathryn loves me sooo much, maybe too much.  Sometimes she squeezes me so tight I think my eyes might pop out.  Sometimes when she puts me in my ball to run she carries my ball instead and I think my brain gets rattled.  Today Kathryn put me on Mom's bed and I peed on Mom's pillow, not Mom's favorite part of the day.  Later when I was on the couch with Jack he set me down and I escaped inside the couch.  I loved it inside the couch.  It was safe, there was lots of food to eat and lots of stuffing to snuggle up in.  Since I'm nocturnal I wanted to lay down and go right to sleep.  Sadly mom wanted to get me out!  She flipped the couch on to it's back and cut a whole right in the bottom.  She said she was mad since the couch didn't have any holes in it and now it does and she had to cut it.  That adventure tired me out and so I slept for a few hours in my cage until Kathryn's friends got home and came to visit.  I am all the rage in the neighborhood right now.  I haven't missed my friends at the pet shop at all.   I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.  P.S. Mom likes me and doesn't regret her decision to bring me home yet.
