The adventures of Marigold have come to an end. Marigold spent ten short days with our family and has now moved on to his eternal reward, that great hamster home in the sky. Far away from little squeezing fingers. The cause of death is uncertain as we thought he was sleeping peacefully when he was discovered. We are very sad. We do not know if we will ever be able to replace Marigold. He was the cutest and craziest hamster we have ever known. Although Marigold was only with us for a short time he filled a void in our life that we needed filled. Pet and friend. We are sad to say good bye to our DLF (Dear Little Friend).

As a side note hamsters come with a 7 day warranty incase they die suddenly. We missed that by 3 days.
Oh...good-bye Marigold. May you rest in peace. We have some beta fish if that will help ease your mourning hearts!!!!
Oh sad, is it my fault that I can't stop giggling?
That sure was short-lived.
No pun intended.
Oh Kathryn, Grandma is so sorry Marigold is gone. I was hoping you would bring him to see me in June when you come to visit. Maybe your Mom or Dad will give you a hug from me to help your sad time. I love you.
But since you spent all that money on hamster 'stuff' you should really get another one!
A haiku for Marigold:
Marigold, loved and lost
A friend and pet to Kathryn
Not soon forgotten
I'm serious about the book. Marigold could live in infamy.
Give Kathryn a big hug from me. I bawled when Jonathon's beta fish Mason died. Everyday he would wag his fins when i would feed him. That was the extent of my pet experience...I can't handle the pressure.
oh sad.
I only had one skype chat with Marigold.
I am thinking of a book. A illustration one + real pictures.
*HUG* for Mom and Katie...
