Chris and the kids are on spring break this week so we decided to go to Spokane over night to see what Spokane is all about. We got a hotel room at the Red Lion Inn downtown Spokane so the kids could swim and watch cable TV(big deal for Froelich children) and Chris and I could drive around and see what Spokane has to offer us. Actually Spokane seems just like every other city to me. Nice areas, scary areas, run down areas, old homes and new homes. We did really like that there was a huge state park right in the city which Chris and I explored for a while.
Up high looking down at the swing bridge which actually gave me a little vertigo.
On the swing bridge looking up at where we took the last photo from. Get it? We followed a walking trail to get up there we didn't have to scale any rocks or climb, or did we...
The photographer with his film camera, pictures coming soon (summer or fall 2009, or 2010)
This was fun and way better then watching the Disney channel in the hotel room, but the kids didn't care or want to go with us. Actually 30 minutes earlier there was a blizzard with high winds and branches falling all over and snow like crazy and then tadah out came the sun and it was lovely. "So happy together"

Looks like you all had such a nice time in Spokane. Love the big red wagon! Glad you are "so happy together".
I love all these posts! I'm jealous that guys are doing all these fun things.
I like this post much better than the first one. The park looks awesome, camping there would be much better than walking around in the snow and/or rain.
