Kathryn turned 4 and Polly turned insane and decided that a hamster would be a great present. She might have been following inspiration, but the difference between madness and prophecy is a hair's breadth.
tonight at the dinner prayer Kathryn said: "Please bless the food, bless Becky and Lisa, thank you that I finally got a pet and I love him so much and he is nocturnal and so soft, and thank you for our house, amen" so yes, it was a moment of insanity, but Kathryn deserves a pet too and they only live 3 years.
We've had our share of hamsters...not one of them ever made it 3 years! I agree, you are insane. I think it comes with motherhood...we give up our sanity for the happiness of our children. What a good mother you are!!

Does mr. hamster have a name yet?
The title is his name "Marigold" we didn't know if it was a girl or boy when Kathryn named him. Cute name anyway.
